Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and ZIYON SAS (“we”, “us”) governing your use of Campzone - the iOS app, Android app, and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Campzone is a platform for organizing and participating in church camp events for the Seventh-day Adventist community: registration and approval, schedules, announcements, songbook, teams and games, check-in, transportation, lodging, polls, chat, feedback, and related features. Individual camps are created and managed by their organizers and leadership. We provide the platform; we are not the organizer of any camp and are not responsible for a camp’s content, conduct, decisions (including approvals, scoring, cancellations), or fees, except as expressly stated here.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be able to form a binding contract and use the Service in compliance with applicable law and your church/camp rules.
• The Service is intended for adults and camp leadership. Children do not create their own accounts; an adult parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized adult registers and manages family members and is responsible for that information and for obtaining any necessary consent.
• You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Keep your sign-in secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Roles and access

Access to features and data is role-based and, for non-admin leadership, scoped to their own church. Roles are assigned by authorized leaders/administrators; you may not attempt to obtain a role or access data you are not entitled to. All access is enforced server-side.

4. Your content and license

You retain ownership of content you submit (messages, media, feedback, profile information - “User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display User Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service (for example, showing your team photo to your team, or your message in a camp chat). You represent that you have the rights to submit the User Content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to allow anyone to:

• post or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, defamatory, deceptive, or otherwise objectionable;
• impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation, eligibility, or role;
• harvest data, scrape, reverse engineer, probe, or circumvent security or access controls; interfere with or overload the Service;
• use the Service to send spam, malware, or to attempt unauthorized access to accounts or data;
• infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use another person’s data beyond what your role permits.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. The Service provides tools to report content and block users. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts, and act on reports of objectionable content within a reasonable time. Camp leadership may also moderate content within their camps.

6. Camp registration, approval, and changes

• Submitting a registration is a request. Camp leadership approves, waitlists, or declines registrations at their discretion. Capacity, waitlists, transportation, and lodging are managed by the camp.
• Information you provide for yourself and family members must be accurate, including emergency-contact and any medical notes.
• Camps may change schedules, teams, assignments, or cancel; we are not responsible for camp-level decisions.

7. Fees, payments, and refunds

• Some camps charge fees (registration, transportation, or other priced items). Fees and currency are set by the camp organizer and shown before payment.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying you also agree to Stripe’s terms. We do not store full card details.
• For paid camps, a successful payment may automatically confirm the related registration. Free camps use manual approval.
• Refunds and cancellations are the responsibility of the camp organizer and subject to that camp’s policy and applicable law. We are not a party to the financial relationship between you and a camp and do not provide refunds for camp fees unless required by law.

8. Notifications

With your permission we send push and in-app notifications (e.g. announcements, schedule reminders, chat, registration requests for leadership). You can manage or disable notifications in your device and in-app settings.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and Campzone marks, is owned by ZIYON SAS or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on Apple, Google (Firebase), Stripe, Cloudinary, and Vercel. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content (including schedules, scores, or camp information entered by organizers) is accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZIYON SAS and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from or related to the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including, for consumers, statutory rights).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZIYON SAS from claims arising out of your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (a 30-day grace period applies - see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, to protect users or the Service, or as required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of France unless applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
